Kyäni Sunset is a proprietary combination of EPA and DHA derived from Wild Fish Oils (includ- ing Wild Salmon - among the purest source in the world), Vitamin A, Vitamin E and the essential Vitamin D.

In its 3rd generation, Kyäni Sunset features fish oil as source of Omega-3 (EPA and DHA), the powerful Vitamins A and D and the most potent version of Vitamin E, Tocotrienols, from rice bran oil. An essential nutrient for the body, Vitamin E is made up of four Tocopherols (alpha, beta, gamma, delta) and four tocotrienols (alpha, beta, gamma, delta).

The difference between tocotrienols and tocopherols lies in the unsaturated side chain of to- cotrienols, having three double bonds in its tail. Tocotrienol is more agile, thereby it can rotate in the cell membrane and move across one cell membrane through other cell membranes.

Beta-Carotene counts to the group of greater carotenoids. Carotenoids are the most common natural pigments. They mainly appear in fruit and vegetables. Beta carotene belongs to the 50 carotenes with provitamin A character, which means that the body can convert it into Vitamin A. The Beta Carotene in Kyäni Sunset originates from the Dunaliella Salina algae, which can be found in hybersaline waters and that are red in colour. Dunaliella Salina is very variable in shape and can be distinguished from other kinds of the genus by its high amount of Beta Carotene – namely between 5 and 14 % of dry weight - in areas of intense light and salt concentrations.

Cholecalciferol is the most important form of Vitamin D for humans. In the body it can be pro- duced in the skin with the help of UVB-rays. In food it can be found in fatty fish, above all.
